Phase 3: Supportive Care

Supportive Care

Allowing your body to function more efficiently.

After we have made physical changes to your spine and the muscles around it, we will have to teach your body how to deal with them.  This includes changes in your everyday activities to make sure what you’re doing and how you’re doing it supports the changes we’ve made.

Exercising is an important part of becoming and staying healthy, but over-exercising or doing an exercise incorrectly can actually do more harm than good.  In this 3rd phase we can answer any questions you might have about what kind of exercise you are doing and if it’s right for you and your body.

We also want to dicusss the ergonomics of your workspace and determine if it might be the cause of some of your issues.  We have back supports available for those who sit for long periods of time, either in the office or in a car.
